I recently sent this message to ChemDry on the internet but have not received a response. Can you please help?

This is in reference to the 2-room carpet cleaning job I had performed on my home at 2613 Sugarberry Lane in Midlothian by your Justin Torres on Friday, May 30. Overall, I am mainly pleased with Justin's performance except for one main concern. There were a couple of dominant rug stains in the living room next to the couch, which I had pointed out to him in advance, and they still exist. I have used ChemDry in the past, and normally after they finish their work, I follow up with them and point out any areas that still need treatment.

However, this time I was unable to do so since at that time I was tied up with another supplier who was at my home on an emergency call to fix my broken garage door. Once I was able to examine the results, I noticed the stains and tried to address them using two different key carpet stain removers manufactured by Tech Enterprises Inc. and Campanelli.com. Unfortunately, I was unable to see any improvement.

Because of this, I would like to have someone come here to treat the problem. If I remember correctly, on a previous ChemDry call, I was provided with one of your bottled cleaners, which you may still provide, and which may do the job. I would appreciate your help on this.

Do not use A and S Chem Dry

My sons dog created two urine stains on a corner of a rug. I called A and S specifically to have the stain removed, they reported they were specialists.

I was assured they used a special enzyme to remove urine. The cleaner came out and I had him clean an 8 ft diameter rug and a 10 x 8 rug. I told him the priority was the removal of two urine spots. I asked him if there was a guarantee.

He replied yes. He told me it would be $164.00, I agreed. He cleaned the carpet. When he handed me the invoice it stated an 8 x 8 carpet instead of 8 ft round diameter rug.

That makes a difference in square footage which is how they charge. 8ft diameter is about 50 square feet, 8 x 8 is 64 square feet. He argued with me and paced it off. I just let it go.

After the carpet dried the urine spot was lighter but still smelled. I called and he came back. Apparently he had not put the urine remover enzyme on the carpet the first time. He wanted an additional 50.00 for that.

I paid it. Now I was into it $215.00. The carpets dried and still the same problem. This time he came back and called his boss who was named Antony.

Antony tried to bully me and talk over me on the phone insisting the dog must have urinated on the rug again. He had not. He had been at vet most of the time before the cleaner came back and was gated into family room the rest of the time. He has never urinated anywhere else in house and this was a one time incident.

There were no new stains, just the same two. This was total fabrication on Antonys part.

I requested a refund as they had said the removal of pet spots was guaranteed. I also wanted the additional money for wrong square footage. He ignored me.

I called and asked to speak to the owner manager. I was told she was not available. She never called me back. I wrote a letter to A and S Chem Dry Vice President Shelley Trevino who was described on Linked In, as a professional through and through and reports that A and S carpet services will be delivered by friendly and trustworthy people.

I have not heard back from them on the letter either. My experience reflects the oppositeunprofessional and untrustworthiness. As a result, I have now contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed an official complaint with them.

I was advised to try hydrogen peroxide on the cover I did as suggested and it is clear the A and S cleaner did no extraction as the peroxide brings the stains to the surface and then you blot them out. After days of this the stain appears gone.

$215.00 to A and S for nothing.

Save yourself time and money.

Do not use A and S Chem Dry in Benicia. Have since seen Yelp reviews and they get a 2.3 stars, I can see why.

Biggest Rip Off Carpet Cleaning.

Bought a house, Carpet was dirty. Called Chem-Dry as they advertise carpet cleaning which is dry in an hour.

Quoted $370 and reluctantly agreed due to high price. As this is a franchise, the cleaner tried to change the booking 1 day before and I declined as I hadn't even moved in yet. He agreed to keep the day but change the time to 630am, ok whatever. He arrives at 7am, tells me stairs are not included in my quote and it will be an extra $70, so now its $450 for carpet cleaning...I ask how long it will take, he says an hour and a half...

An hour and a half for 90 square meters of carpet. Using MY power and MY water, he proceeds to quickly clean my carpet, leaking water all over my floor downstairs. Does one quick go over with his *** vacuum, packs up and leaves. Carpet didn't dry for 48hours and was still filthy, as I was so furious in being completely ripped off, I called Chem-Dry Australia, they told me it would be rectified.

I get a phone call from the cleaner that afternoon, telling me he did the best he could, I told him I disagreed and that was it.

No refund, No reclean. I will never use Chem-Dry, nor will I ever recommend them.

Hired a local Chem-Dry franchisee to clean our carpets; had difficulty getting answers as he was recovering from surgery. Finally set dates for cleaning, but still had not received estimate.

Shows up on day scheduled for cleaning; I ask him to go through the house and provide estimate. He does, I give him the ok and he proceeds. In general, the carpet looked much better, but several stains emerged over the two days between the first cleaning and the come back to finish one more room. When I asked him if his leaking tank sprayer had caused the stains, he admitted that no, it wasn't the tank sprayer, it was his machine, which spits when it stops moving.

We now have several 9-12 inch circular brown stains on our white Berber carpet in places where there were no stains before. His attempts, and his wife's, to clean them on the second visit made them even worse. I contacted him to remedy the situation and was sent to voicemail and never received a call back.

My wife has been trying to clean up their mess ever since. We decided we don't want them back in our home and will never use Chem-Dry again.
