The ChemDry truck driver almost killed me with his bad driving!
An 80 year old LA Chem Dry Truck driver stopped in the middle of the road during week day rush hour to read his map! " I was lost and it was early so it was not a problem",he said,unapologetically after my car was totaled and he merely had a dent in his fender.
He then drove away only to almost cause another accident when he illegally cut across a dirt median ,narrowly missing another car into a street going the other way (lost again apparently)! He was unconcerned that I was crying,shaking and almost lost my brand new job because of his need to stop to read his map without pulling over.
I am liable for the accident because I hit him going 20 mph in my little car but this guy will kill someone soon! Do you want to hire someone this dangerous to clean your carpet ?
Preferred solution: Evaluate you driver who may kill someone soon and make Chemdry look very very bad
Not impressed
Purchased a Living Social voucher for 2 rooms of carpet to be cleaned. Called for appointment and said I had Living Social.
Two appointments made and cancelled (1 due to scheduling conflict of owner and 1 due to him being ill) Third appointment was for 9:00Am, received a call close to 10 that he was on the way. When he arrived and I showed him the voucher he said he doesn't work with Living Social, I reminded him that I told him I had a LS voucher when I first called, he said yes but I thought you meant Groupon??? he made a call and left a message and basically said he'd do the job using the voucher as a discount but I'd have to pay another $70. I said no, he left.
I called Living Social and they are crediting my charge card. I felt that he clearly didn't want to do the job and I would never contact this company again
Chemdry sucks
I just moved into a house my landlord hired Chem dry to clean. The carpet stank like moldy laundry.
Spots everywhere. I wish I could tell more people how they should NOT use chem dry to clean their carpets.

Did the carpet stink BEFORE he had it cleaned? Also, if the house was vacant, hopefully your landlord left the a/c running.
Otherwise, the freshly cleaned carpet will take a while to dry. That can cause a funk.

Left a dirty mess
Had Chemdry clean moms home to get ready for sale. They dumped the dirty water down her toilet and left a mess on the floor.
After the carpet dried we saw a dirty spot and footprint where the bucket was. They refused to come back and clean the dirty spot unless we pay anothet 100 dollars!!
Thats on top of the 280 we already paid. I will NEVER use them again!!

Please call the number as shown in Post for information about this false complaint defamation of character, slander, stalking,harrassement,of me from my deceased spouse's family... It's sad that they are focused on not the loss of their sister on Feb19.,2017..
We ran this business together and I have taken all of my certification as well as have signed letters and great reviews from Mr.Dan&Pauline Derby as well as winning the Code of Excellence Award,etc...I have never ruined anyone's floors nor have I ever refused anyone's request to come back from something not cleaned...the reason being there have been no such request towards me or my work.. . Call nearby chem drys they can confirm the quality work we have done because they send us their overflow customers... If this so called customer has an issue and any truth to it then why have the problem with not stating who you are and stand behind what you say...
I have not gotten any bad reviews nor complaints from customers in any of my accounts residential, commercial, automotive & rv in which the Dallas Cowboys buses are at... No notices or calls from Chem Dry or Anyone acting on behalf of Chem Dry...Nor any Notices or concerns from The BBB.... I regrettably have to take legal action for those that are involved with negative comments and lies and false information that absolutely has no backing or truth behind them.. I have same clients as Dan Derby Which can vouch for my quality of work and care for our customers and the money they spend as a blessing to our franchise...sad that a site as this one does not confirm or verify the truth...before posting things about a person before they see what motive or reason or truth behind such false and harmful and hurtful allegations.
Shame on You! As you see I have not listed anyone's particular name or the name or their Businesses and not I am trying to do harm back I Pray that The Family gets passed this anger and blame and lies and let all of our loss be what is focused upon and leave the business their sister and I worked so hard to build up.. I challenge them to list proof and name themselves instead of smearing and trying to ruin what their sister cared so much for... She would be shocked and so disappointed..
Know we thought so much more of you than this.. know I am so sorry for lossing your sister and friend and its a shock and devastating handling it is hard to deal with It makes it so much worse and heart wrenching for this kind of behavior to take away from her and her business and her memory.. She wouldn't have never thought you would have ever been capable of such acts and lies and unkind words that hurt so much and often can cause damage and some being irreparable long after your anger wears off.. I would like to know how and why it is possible that we lost her so young and so unexpectedly !
I ask God that everyday... Some things we will never know why... I know y'all are looking for answers And in your pain it's easier to place blame and have some kind of answer or explanation instead of none. I get that..
But doesn't make it right.. Please contact me lets talk about her or any unanswered questions you have since y'all really weren't involved with her or our day to day business or Our Personal lives.. I have lived there for many years and haven't not seen any of you there not once but her nephew. Yes I am excited y'all were doing more out as a family she was thrilled especially not knowing we had such limited amount of time left to be with her!!

(As you very well know the van hasn't been current because of her having an out of state drivers license.. In which she was planning to rectify before she passed)

BEWARE!!!!!! Holly Adan's is NOT licensed or certified by ChemDry.
She came to my home and ruined my floors. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bereau and with ChemDry Corporate offices. I suspected she under the influence of something and found public records her recent arrests. The ChemDry van she was driving has expired tags and when I questioned her about training she's became defensive.
I will never use this service again. Imagine my disappointment in such a lowlife who would represent themselves as someone else and come into my home and take advantage of me and my family, much less take my $$$$$
Maybe you should look in the mirror... And I know who you are so you can stop harassing her.
She is a great person and I know *** well she is very capable of doing her job.
So I'm sorry your sister is gone but this is not how to handle it. This family drama needs to stop.
DID NOT SHOW UP FOR AN ESTIMATE
called and asked if a rep would come to my home for an estimate gave me pricing over the phone, said so, i need for a rep to see my rugs in advance and then give me an estimate,since i have some urine stains from an old cat, and they have a technique called p u r t to remove the stains, they said ok we can come 2 -5 and clean, i said , no estimate first and 5:00 or after. They did not come they called at 5:30 and said has to come from 2-5 to clean, I reminded the same lady again, no clean, estimate and after 5:00 I told her I work. She said, no, 2-5, I hung up , it was obvious that they dont want to do estimates, and I am sure there is a reason for it Pissed potential customer, and no longer a potential customer
Maybe they get off from work at 5 pm, as well ?? Just a thought.
Mislead and disappointed
I decided to go with Chemdry because of the information on their website and youtube videos. Theor website and youtube videos all showed the same machine being used.
So I asked the customer service girl if the Australian Chemdry used the same method and machine as the youtube videos. She said YES! So that was the reason why I choose Chemdry as that was their point of difference. However I only got surviced with a regular hot water extraction.
I asked the guy and he said that not all franchise has the 'powerhead' as it costs $25000. I told him that I was under the impression that the powerhead was goint to be used.
He was very nice and apologetic and buffed the carpet also. However, I felt that Chemdry has mislead me as there website clearly shows that they use the powerhead not regular hotwater extraction.
I recommend contacting Chem Dry again because if what you say is true, you were lied to by the tech. I am no affiliated with the Chem Dry that serviced you, but I am an owner of another one.
A Powerhead costs about $2,500 USD new, not $25,000.
Furthermore, per the franchise agreement they must provide Powerhead cleaning if requested (at addtl cost usually).
The strangest part is that without the Powerhead, the Chem Dry system reverts back to the Legacy system (pre-vac, prespray with the Chem Dry cleaner, bonnet extraction), not hot water extraction.
How long did it take to dry? If more than 8 hours, it would seem you are right but if it dried quickly (2-4 hrs) you got the Legacy system (a very effective method).
Carpets were not cleaned!
Floors were not cleaned! The owner had another carpet cleaner come out and they said that the carpets didn't even look cleaned. I had to pay Chem Dry and lost money out of my deposit to pay for the other company to clean the carpets.
Exceedingly poor
Found the staff member was unprofessional have had damage to property . I would not recommend this company to any body .
Awful and very misleading
Everything we were told was completly false. We were over charged and the carpet is far worse than before they came.
24 hours later the carpet is still wet and smells awful. Called the company and they were unprofessional and rude blaming us and suggested we have a leak. Our house is very new and we have never had an odor or any other type of problem until they came. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady on the phone said the manager does not want to speak to us and had the technician call who would interrupt and not let my fiance finish his conversation.
We were told if we did not add all the additional services thatit was pointless that they do anything. Very disappointed.

Pet Urine cleaning still unresolved - technician will not return
The Lowell Chem Dry service area technician and owner is unwilling to give me a day and time to return to my home and retreat with PURT the pet urine area in my home. I was told at time of 1st treatment that it was guaranteed to be 100% effective, but if not, a repeat treatment would be of no charge.
Because this is a non moneymaking deal for this technician, he is unwilling to be honest and do the right thing.
He has strung me along for 2 months and will not give me a date or time to return. This is NOT how you treat a customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
I was also told a retreatment would be done at no charge if the 1st treatment did not work. And when I called back to schedule the retreatment the cost was the same as the initial treatment- and no the area was not resoiled- I had it blocked off completely.
This was Chemdry that services the savannah ga and surrounding areas.
Seems that the franchise is telling owners to give customers false information about the retreatment to get business. Looks very bad for them
Worst cleaners ever
I had Chemdry clean my carpets for $400; you would not even know they entered the house. The carpet was worse than before they entered if so! The stains on the carpets were excatly the same and the carpet did not even look fresh. I can do a better job with eucalytus spray. I can see why they have a rating of 1.4!
I don't recomend at all.
When they come back and inspect they lie and blame the stains on someone else.
I had a person from airtasker for $66 a steam clean do a better job!
$400 is outrageous for no clean!

Carpets just finished drying after Chemdry service. Not only are the stains STILL there, but there is now an orange stain that was never there to begin with.
High traffic areas are far more noticeable now ????
$175.00 for what exactly?? Husband is calling technician right now.

THE FRANCISE OWENER ENCOUAGE ME TO TELLTHE CUSTOMER THAT THE CLEANING AND SEALER IS INCLUD OF CHEMDRYED WHICH IS A BOLD FACE LIE....I TOLD THE OWENER I WILL NOT LIE TO THE CUSTOMER , I HAVE TEXT MESSAGES FROM THE OWNER THAT SUPPORTS MY CLAIM. I WILL BE NOTYFING THE NEWS MEDIA WITH THE PRINTED TEXT MESSAGES FROM THEFRANCHISE OWNER

many businesses print coupons. that does not mean the carpet cleaner in your area was accepting them.
i tried using a coupon at a local convenience store numerous times. every time i hand them the coupon, the replied that they do not accept coupons.
funny ... because they sell the products that the coupon was meant to be used on.
Chem - Dry attempted to clean my carpet. The technician used P.U.R.T to remove pet urine odor.
The P.U.R. T solution left my carpet stiff and smells like wet dog. Its been about 40 hours since he spread the dirt around my carpet.
The technique is for light cleaning, the solution is poured onto the carpet, which takes just as long to dry if not longer than steam cleaning. Never again will I use Chem-Dry.
Many social media companies will make offers that are not valid. I applaud the fact that he walked away from some screwball coupon.
Put on your big girl panties and appreciate green service. Living social groupon blah blah blah blah get over it.
