Fraudulent ChemDry Rep.... Holly Adams

Fraudulent ChemDry Rep.... Holly Adams

BEWARE!!!!!! Holly Adan's is NOT licensed or certified by ChemDry.

She came to my home and ruined my floors. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bereau and with ChemDry Corporate offices. I suspected she under the influence of something and found public records her recent arrests. The ChemDry van she was driving has expired tags and when I questioned her about training she's became defensive.

I will never use this service again. Imagine my disappointment in such a lowlife who would represent themselves as someone else and come into my home and take advantage of me and my family, much less take my $$$$$

Maybe you should look in the mirror... And I know who you are so you can stop harassing her.

She is a great person and I know *** well she is very capable of doing her job.

So I'm sorry your sister is gone but this is not how to handle it. This family drama needs to stop.

DID NOT SHOW UP FOR AN ESTIMATE

called and asked if a rep would come to my home for an estimate gave me pricing over the phone, said so, i need for a rep to see my rugs in advance and then give me an estimate, since i have some urine stains from an old cat, and they have a technique called p u r t to remove the stains, they said ok we can come 2 -5 and clean, i said , no estimate first and 5:00 or after. They did not come they called at 5:30 and said has to come from 2-5 to clean, I reminded the same lady again, no clean, estimate and after 5:00 I told her I work. She said, no, 2-5, I hung up , it was obvious that they dont want to do estimates, and I am sure there is a reason for it Pissed potential customer, and no longer a potential customer

Maybe they get off from work at 5 pm, as well ?? Just a thought.

Well, this was not my Chem Dry franchise but as an owner of one, it sounds as if they only had certain times available. Usually Chem Dry's have an estimate and then clean practice, where a tech arrives and estimates the job, then cleans if you wish.

If not, the tech will leave for no charge. I don't offer on site residential estimates because of the time and gas it takes. I provide a phone quote and the mentioned estimate and clean option.

As far as the after hours time request: at my franchise, it is very common.

If your request was for a quick response appointment (within 48 hours), I must offer the opinion that your request was unreasonable. If it was a request for any day in the future (after 5pm), they should have found a time and day that works for you.

I made that appointment over a week ago. I asked for the estimate to be done because

of the cost of PURT, and there are quite alot of urine stains from a cat that was 21 years

old and passed away.

I told the cornerstone franchise that I spoke to, about the cost

of purt and was told that it is $ 85.00 for the size of two softballs, and since I have quite

a few I needed to know the exact estimate. I also told the lady Kelly that I needed 5 or

after since like most people, such as her, I work. A business needs to work with a potential customer, not *** them off. Any reputable company would be happy to provide an exact estimate.

Seems to me that it is the Chem Dry way of not being upfront. I called because of your info on PURT, glad to know in advance not to hire Chem Dry, if you cant show up for an appointment, its not a good sign, and I was in Sales for over 4 years.

Mislead and disappointed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I decided to go with Chemdry because of the information on their website and youtube videos. Theor website and youtube videos all showed the same machine being used.

So I asked the customer service girl if the Australian Chemdry used the same method and machine as the youtube videos. She said YES! So that was the reason why I choose Chemdry as that was their point of difference. However I only got surviced with a regular hot water extraction.

I asked the guy and he said that not all franchise has the 'powerhead' as it costs $25000. I told him that I was under the impression that the powerhead was goint to be used.

He was very nice and apologetic and buffed the carpet also. However, I felt that Chemdry has mislead me as there website clearly shows that they use the powerhead not regular hotwater extraction.

I recommend contacting Chem Dry again because if what you say is true, you were lied to by the tech. I am no affiliated with the Chem Dry that serviced you, but I am an owner of another one.

A Powerhead costs about $2,500 USD new, not $25,000.

Furthermore, per the franchise agreement they must provide Powerhead cleaning if requested (at addtl cost usually).

The strangest part is that without the Powerhead, the Chem Dry system reverts back to the Legacy system (pre-vac, prespray with the Chem Dry cleaner, bonnet extraction), not hot water extraction.

How long did it take to dry? If more than 8 hours, it would seem you are right but if it dried quickly (2-4 hrs) you got the Legacy system (a very effective method).

Carpets were not cleaned!

Floors were not cleaned! The owner had another carpet cleaner come out and they said that the carpets didn't even look cleaned. I had to pay Chem Dry and lost money out of my deposit to pay for the other company to clean the carpets.

Awful and very misleading

Everything we were told was completly false. We were over charged and the carpet is far worse than before they came.

24 hours later the carpet is still wet and smells awful. Called the company and they were unprofessional and rude blaming us and suggested we have a leak. Our house is very new and we have never had an odor or any other type of problem until they came. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady on the phone said the manager does not want to speak to us and had the technician call who would interrupt and not let my fiance finish his conversation.

We were told if we did not add all the additional services thatit was pointless that they do anything. Very disappointed.

Pet Urine cleaning still unresolved - technician will not return

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The Lowell Chem Dry service area technician and owner is unwilling to give me a day and time to return to my home and retreat with PURT the pet urine area in my home. I was told at time of 1st treatment that it was guaranteed to be 100% effective, but if not, a repeat treatment would be of no charge.

Because this is a non moneymaking deal for this technician, he is unwilling to be honest and do the right thing.

He has strung me along for 2 months and will not give me a date or time to return. This is NOT how you treat a customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was also told a retreatment would be done at no charge if the 1st treatment did not work. And when I called back to schedule the retreatment the cost was the same as the initial treatment- and no the area was not resoiled- I had it blocked off completely.

This was Chemdry that services the savannah ga and surrounding areas.

Seems that the franchise is telling owners to give customers false information about the retreatment to get business. Looks very bad for them

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had Chemdry clean my carpets for $400; you would not even know they entered the house. The carpet was worse than before they entered if so! The stains on the carpets were excatly the same and the carpet did not even look fresh. I can do a better job with eucalytus spray. I can see why they have a rating of 1.4!

I don't recomend at all.

When they come back and inspect they lie and blame the stains on someone else.

I had a person from airtasker for $66 a steam clean do a better job!

$400 is outrageous for no clean!

Ruined velveteen antique couch

Chemdry - Ruined velveteen antique couch

Had a couch, chair and foot stool cleaned in Port Orchard , Washington. Chair and stool's cloth coverings done well, but our older (in excellent condition) velveteen couch was ruined.

The original crew left tool marks over the whole couch and destroyed the pile, all exposed after the couch dried. Their fixall guy came in and spent several hours brushing it out but the damage was done. My advice is to take pictures to document condition of your furniture before they start. Though they all bragged of up to 15 years experience, they didn't know how to deal with this material and insisted that I couldn't address the problem because I had no experience in the field.

Fortunately for them we aren't the suing type. Good luck.

Chemdry Carpet Cleaning Service Review from Apple Valley, California - Image 3

I made an appointment at A home show for a $33 dollar a room special! I told the Owner Jason the carpet is only 2 months old and my dog got a hold of the baby oil bottle and got spots throughout the house I had 1 room and a hall and a small patch in the living room 7x8 ft I thought no more than 3 rooms .

$99 at the most. I was gone the day they showed up so the crew did the job and proceeded to charge my wife $50 for each room and then $2 a lineal ft for the hall 25 ft x2 $50 more dollars the hall is only 3ft wide!! Then they told her we should get a sealer and disenfectant put on the carpet to the tune of $80 dollars!! So now we r up to $230 !!!

I called and talked to the office person and explained about the mistake in pricing and I was pissed off they sold my wife additional treatments for a 2 month old carpet!! And they did not honor the special price!! She was so rude and told me well if your wife signed the paperwork then that was it!!! I told her this was wrong and I was not ok with this solution , she once again said basically TO BAD!!

I told her I wanted to talk to the owner she said she would see what she could do!! 3 hours went by and nothing!! I then found out my wife Wrote a check !! Yea!!

I stopped payment !! Then later that evening the owner called me back we had a conversation about everything and he would call me in Monday for a price that he came up with !! I told him about the canceled check so he would not put it in the bank !! And get charged a fee !

And that I would split the fee I paid with him !! So here we r today within a couple of days every stain on my carpets came back !! And where my dog got sick I could not get the stain out !! Where they supposedly put a sealer on !!

I'm calling BS on this company !! I'm not going to pay them a dime !! But he keeps calling me for $190 this is what he says I owe !! They will not be coming back to my house !!

And he will not be getting any$$ from me !

you can decide to not pay until you have a lien on your house. Law states they are to be given the oppertunity to fix the issue.

And the carpet so new, no warranty? I more concerned about the dog.

Guest

Well, did you scold your wife? Obviously, she made a decision for your household.

If she can't be trusted to make a decision, don't leave her alone. Those pics you posted don't just look like baby oil, but also your dog is *** in your carpet.

Chemdry - Carpet Cleaning Service Review from Porirua, Wellington

Firstly we were quoted around $270 to have the carpets cleaned in our 3bedroom house (excluding areas covered with furniture) When the guy came to measure the job, he measured wall to wall. He then quoted us $315!

We thought ok, fair enough and had 3 stains that needed treating in the lounge. Once he cleaned the carpets he stood in our driveway and insisted we pay "cash upon completion" so he stood there while my husband had to drive into town to get cash out. We noticed 2 NEW dark stains on our bedroom floor that were soapy and dark and sopping wet.. We initially thought it was strange as our bedroom carpet was in excellent condition prior to cleaning (we just figured we might as well get the whole lot done for open home) now the carpet has dried and looks terrible!

2 really obvious stains dried into the carpet!

So pissed off. Gonna ring up chemdry tomorrow and tear them a new one.

Chemdry Carpet Cleaning Service Review

The technician walked in the door and immediately told me that it would be more expensive "very expensive" to get my carpet cleaned. He had no idea even what I had been quoted but immediately went into his up sell mode. I asked him to leave and that I would call another company.

If Homeowner Offers Plastic Sheeting To Protect Hardwood Floor- Use IT.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

First, the technicians were friendly and nice. I offered them plastic sheeting because of the hardwood floor underneath the 8' x 5' area rug.

They said they did not need it due to the "reliability" of their solutions not to bleed through. Needless to say, I looked under the rug when they were through and there were two puddles of solution. The machine they used slung cleaner or sealant all around the rug onto the wood. I had to get down on my hands and knees to clean the wood (which is not what you're to do with a femur tumor and back condition) all around the 8' x 5' rug and especially where they had walked on the rug then onto the wood- footprints had to be cleaned up also.

When a homeowner offers you plastic sheeting- use it. I cannot tell my husband that they charged me $130.00 (clean & seal) he would hit the ceiling and cancel the check. Me ? I'm going to let this go because it would do no good to have them come back.

Very disappointed especially because the men were friendly and nice. I guess I would be too if I made $130.00 for less than 30 minutes worth of work, not look to see if I made a mess somewhere and just leave the homeowner (disabled veteran) cleaning up after me. I'm a fool and now I'm going to be a liar to my own husband- I can't tell him about this. I should have done some homework on reviews for Chem-Dry.

Would be glad to provide some type of visual but my husband has the digital camera for his work. I realize the onus is on me but I don't have the digital.

I'm not a liar but now- and, to my husband no less. I am a fool.

Beware they will try and up price on you - LISTEN to FAST TALK

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

First the agent added items that were optional and did not explain, to my mother (a senior citizen) who wasn't clear on what she was being offered, that items were optional. Once he finished quoting price, bill was $100.00 more than original quote.

Luckily, I was there to explain to her what was being offered, and she quickly declined; however, the agent promised to clean an area rug (5X7) for her as well. She did not ask him, he happily offered; however, when he was leaving I asked him was he going to clean the rug, he said NO, since she did not get optional package. What bothers me, is that he offered to clean the area rug when he first entered the house, before she had agreed to additional options. So, what agent did was out of revenge for us not adding optional services, he left rug rolled up in kitchen, and did not honor his offer, which he did not say was based on conditions.

I have been unsuccessful getting anyone to call me back.
